Return & Cancellation Policy
This Return & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases and bookings made through our website, in accordance with applicable Portuguese and European Union consumer protection laws, including Decree-Law No. 24/2014 on distance and off-premises contracts.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Online Purchases)
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract within 14 days.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you receive the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision through a clear statement (e.g., email).
You may use the standard withdrawal form (optional).
Effects of Withdrawal
Upon valid withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received, within 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or proof of return.
Return Conditions
Items must be returned unused, in original condition, with all packaging and tags intact.
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
2. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
Customised or made-to-order products
Sealed items that are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons once opened (e.g., wetsuits if hygiene seals are removed)
Services fully performed with your prior consent and acknowledgment that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been completed
Bookings for specific dates, such as surf lessons or equipment rentals scheduled for a defined period
3. Returns Due to Defects or Non-Conformity
If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract:
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, in accordance with Portuguese consumer law.
Please contact us within a reasonable time after detecting the issue.
4. Cancellation & Changes – Surf Lessons and Equipment Rentals
Customer-Initiated Cancellation
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled service: Full refund
You may request to reschedule up to 72 hours before the booking, subject to availability.
5. Weather & Safety Conditions
Surf lessons and rentals are subject to weather and sea conditions.
If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered the option to reschedule at no additional cost
6. Rental Equipment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the proper use and safekeeping of rented equipment.
In case of loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear and tear, we reserve the right to charge repair or replacement costs.
7. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed within 5–14 business days after approval.
Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.
